They transported six panels of marijuana in paint buckets

Four subjects were detained at the María Nieves Bridge, Guárico-Apure limits and six marijuana panels were seized, according to military sources.

The consignment came in a JAC truck which was checked by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) at the Citizen Service Point located on the aforementioned road artery.

In the requisition, the military obtained two jugs in which paint is usually packaged, within which were the panelas with a total weight of 6 kilos 970 grams.

During the procedure, the four occupants of the vehicle, identified as Carlos Eduardo Vásquez, Luis Bernardo Ortega, Deivy Rodríguez Álvarez and Ronald Alexander Saldeño Rufo, were detained.

These subjects also seized a 9mm Magnum pistol, Desert Eagle model, 11 9mm cartridges and three telephone sets.

The four detainees came from the town of Puerto Páez (Apure) and were on their way to Caracas.

As a continuation of this procedure, agents assigned to the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit No. 34 of the GNB detained Felipe De Jesús González in Tucupido (Guárico), who is related to the cache of marijuana seized at the María Nieves Bridge.
