They seized five bandits with 56 cartridges and a grenade

Five members of different criminal organizations were arrested by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.

On Guarenas-Guatire Intercommunal Avenue, Miranda state, agents attached to the GNB Urban Security Detachment (Desur) seized 12 7.62X51mm caliber cartridges destined for rifles, a Cóndor brand tear gas grenade, model GL-302, a radio transmitter , a telephone set and a Keeway Owen 150 CL motorcycle.

In this procedure, Yhoan Sojo Royman and Génesis Paredes Torrealba, members of the El Manuelito criminal group, were arrested.

In the Bicentenario Sur sector, San Francisco municipality, Zulia state, the military seized a magazine containing 32 9mm caliber cartridges which were being transported by Deivis Rolando Briñez Rodríguez, according to reports.

The Llaneros. Another action against criminal organizations was carried out in San Juan de Unare, Sucre state, precisely the eastern town where Gilberto Malony Hernández (El Malony), founder of the Tren del Llano, was killed, a military operation that occurred in November 2021, according to records.

And on this occasion, agents attached to the Rural Command Detachment 53-2 of the GNB, seized two non-industrially manufactured firearms, two 12-gauge cartridges and three facsimiles.

All this material was in the possession of three members of the Los Llaneros criminal group: Beltrán José Morao Morao (Chito Munrra), Carlos Manuel Morín Moya (Mamera El Mechas) and Raimonth José Campos Morao (El Chakako).

Military intelligence investigations have detected the incursion of various criminal organizations in the trafficking of weapons, bullets and explosive devices. They also determined the appearance of suppliers of war materials to common criminal groups who, in turn, market them among their cells to intimidate the victims.
