A terrifying attack from a 12 foot long crocodilewas recorded on video and almost ended the life of the victim.
The events were recorded on August 3, in a lake located in Thonotosassastate of Florida, (USA), when a 34-year-old man was swimming and filming a video.

“I always preach mitigated risk, and that day I failed, and everything went completely out the window,” the former Air Force member told local media.
Subject was unaware of the huge alligator swimming in his direction until the attack occurred.
A drone flying over the area captured the terrifying moment. The lizard bit the victim’s head and chest, that he used the strength of his own hands to free himself.
Then he swam with what strength he had left to the shore of the lake and when he arrived the injuries were evident; the crocodile fractured his skull and jaw.
There, some present called the emergency service and he was quickly transferred to a medical center where he received medical attention.

Upon arrival at the hospital, the man had to undergo surgery due to the seriousness of the injuries. The procedure lasted approximately six hours and a part of his brain was removed.
Despite surviving, this man still has to undergo surgery to have a plate implanted over his brain.
