A clandestine armory was raided in the Barrio Verde sector, Santa Teresa del Tuy (Miranda) and its war material seized, according to military sources.
Among the items seized are 24 firearms, two tear gas canisters, 29 chargers and 60 cartridges of various calibers. The arsenal includes three 38mm caliber revolvers; five pistols, two flower, two rifles (one of them with a telescopic sight) and eleven shotguns, including seven of non-industrialized manufacture.
They also seized 30 cartridges for rifles, four Light Automatic Rifle magazines, two AR-15 rifle magazines, a 30mm caliber rifle magazine; six 22mm caliber magazines; sixteen magazines intended for 9mm pistols; twenty-two 30mm caliber cartridges and five 5.56mm caliber cartridges.
