Police Commander Crio. Gilberto Fleitas pointed out that they are about to identify those who attacked truckers and private vehicles in San Pedro on Wednesday night. He added that they already have the characteristics of the vehicle in which the criminals were traveling.

That night several truck drivers and private cars circulating on Routes PY03 and PY08, in the area of ​​the department of San Pedro, were attacked. No one was injured, but the vehicles were left with broken glass and other damage.

According to the report, the attacks were carried out with glass pellets from a vehicle that was located in a dark area. The hypothesis handled by the Police is that said act of vandalism is part of a retaliation for the prohibition of the closure of routes.

So far, no one has been arrested for this incident. “Investigators are following and are about to identify the attackers. They already have the characteristics of the vehicle used and that is already in the Public Ministry. The people who left their trucks on the side of the roads have been identified”, he told 730 AM.
