The dismembered body of a middle-aged woman was found by miners in some bushes located between the El Foco and San Antonio sectors, in the town of El Dorado, Bolívar state.
According to reports, the woman’s body had several gunshot wounds and her arms and left leg had been cut off, remains that apparently have not been located.
At the time of its discovery, the body was completely naked.
The discovery was made by residents of the area, who, faced with this situation, immediately reported it to the local police. The police cordoned off the area and waited for the commissions of both the National Forensic Sciences Service (Senamecf), as well as the detectives of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc).
The victim was identified as Neyrusca Rivero, who had been reported missing. The security forces are working to find out the motive for the crime and capture those responsible.
