They locate 2,000 liters of gasoline near a clandestine runway in Zulia

Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) located more than two thousand liters of gasoline, near an unused clandestine runway in the state of Zulia, which was used by the Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking Groups of Colombia (TANCOL), reported this Sunday the commander Operational Strategic Officer of the military corps, Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the gasoline was hidden among the weeds and was used for a JetA-1 plane.

«In search and scrutiny operations against the TANCOLs on the banks of the Tarra River, Zulia, near an unused clandestine airstrip, the FANB locates more than 2,000 liters of gasoline from the JetA-1 aircraft hidden in the undergrowth! Venezuela is not and will not be a warehouse for Colombian drug traffickers! !”, Hernández Lárez wrote on the social network.

In January 2022, the FANB began this security operation with the aim of maintaining and protecting the peace of the nation.

Recently, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered that operations against the TANCOL be reinforced, as well as their deployment throughout the eastern part of the country.
