A 24-year-old girl was shot in the head resist an assault after having withdrawn more than 50 thousand soles from a bank from the sale of coffee. The act of blood occurred at about 6 pm last Thursday, on Teresa Otiniano Avenue in San Ramón de Pangoa, province of Satipo.
The victim, identified as Karina Muñoz Erquinio, had withdrawn 51,000 soles from the bank and, accompanied by another person, decided to leave, braving the danger on the streets.
Later, on a less crowded street, the “brands” who had been following her on a black motorcycle intercepted her and, pointing a gun at her, took the wallet in which she was carrying the money. She, facing the criminals, struggled and, in that attempt, was shot in the head.
