A group of armed individuals tried this Friday morning to affect the operation of the “Rafael Urdaneta” Thermoelectric Complex, located in the Cañada de Urdaneta municipality, Zulia.
The information was provided by the Minister for Electric Power, Néstor Reverol through his social networks, from where he specified that the security agencies killed one of the perpetrators of the attack. At the scene of the event, the officials collected a firearm that the criminal used to confront.
Specifically, the armed group tried to affect machine number 7 in Termozulia, a situation that was repelled by military agents, Reverol indicated.
“Our Corpoelecinfo workforce is carrying out important maintenance work necessary for power generation in Zulia,” said the Minister.
