Users are reporting that they have been victims of a scam in an advertisement posted on the social network Facebook where points of sale are offered.
The ad features logos of Banco Venezuela and invites people to register to purchase the Point of Sale. It is then that a form appears on the screen for the person to enter their username and password. Then, a code is sent to the cell phone that the person must enter in a line.
From that moment on, the scammers steal all the money in the user’s bank account and disappear without notifying them about the delivery of the Point of Sale, according to testimonies.
