They denounce that they do not stop the release ticket

Relatives of Jesús Arnaldo Escalona Sánchez, denounced that the freedom granted by the 1st Court of Control with Jurisdiction in Economic Illicit of Carabobo has not yet materialized.

The release ticket was issued on March 2 and is numbered C1-0001-2023, signed by Judge José Vicente Saavedra.

This ballot is addressed to the director of the New Men Training Center “El Libertador” located in Tocuyito, Carabobo state. The text of the document specifies that the aforementioned court granted a precautionary measure to substitute release in favor of Jesús Arnaldo Escalona Sánchez, prosecuted for misplacement, loss, deterioration and damage to public property, crimes that he allegedly committed when he was general manager of the Plant Filling of PDVSA Yagua.

At the time of granting the precautionary measure, Judge Saavedra argued that the Public Prosecutor “did not provide conclusive evidence or evidence of participation or authorship, much less the way in which they participated in the commission of the crimes for which they are accused.” , as the material authors of the same, which is contradicted by the way in which they were apprehended, since an arrest warrant should have been issued, being necessary and demonstrative of the lack of flagrante delicto in their actions, that is, they were not on site actively participating in the extraction of fuel”.

The medical situation of Escalona Sánchez, suffering from diabetes, was also taken into account by Judge Saavedra to grant the measure that to date has not materialized, according to family members.
