The sectoral vice president for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, met with representatives of the Jesús Rivero Bolivarian University of Workers and the Bolivarian Socialist Central of Workers (Cbst) to begin the formation of the technical committee of science and technology of the working class.
Jiménez explained that accompanying the training of workers “implies promoting a subjectivity that acts from a community ethic,” he said, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
He added that the workers’ organizations must contribute to the construction of another economy and society. “The ministries of Education, University Education and the Social Work Process will also join this proposal, so that the technical table of science and technology allows strengthening and diversifying production, as well as the creation of goods and services ”, he exposed.
In this regard, he added that the workers have shown different approaches to help with the goals of recovery and strengthening of the country’s productive apparatus.
The vice ministers for Educational Communities and Union, Wuikelman Ángel, and for the Qualitative Transformation of University Education, David Silva, also participated in the meeting. Likewise, the president of the Cbst, Wills Rangel, was present.
The meetings will be held for the next few days to then present the final proposal to the president of the republic, Nicolás Maduro, who entrusted the management to promote the country’s productive capacities hand in hand with the labor force.
