Three alleged partners of the criminal cells that swarm in Valles de Aragua associated with Carlos Rodríguez (El Conejo), were captured by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and identified as: Javier Peña Tovar, José Gregorio Valdez Silvira and Leonel Rodríguez Díaz .
The subjects were trapped in the Los Cerritos sector, José Rafael Revenga municipality (El Consejo), Aragua, a territory included in the Cacique Maracay 2022 operation, as explained by General Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the National Armed Forces. A similar procedure was carried out in the Canoabito sector, Juan José Mora municipality, Carabobo state, where they seized a 380 pistol, Brico Jennings brand, model 48, a pistol magazine, three 380 caliber cartridges without firing, 21 7.62×39 mm caliber cartridges , two telephone equipment and a tear gas device. Said material was in the possession of José Manuel Hernández Mendoza, a member of the criminal group “AK-47”, according to the report of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas).
And in the Mata Negra hamlet, Santa María de Ipire municipality, Guárico state, the military seized two shotguns and five cartridges. In this procedure, Héctor José Fernández Méndez, Johan Alberto Castillo and Lucas Arguello Soler were arrested.
