The initial projections of political scientists have already announced it: there will be a runoff between the two candidates with the most votes: Yamandú Orsi for the Frente Amplio, and Álvaro Delgado for the National Party with the coalition group.
According to the Citizen Perception Office, so far in the vote count the Frente Amplio has 44.4%, the National Party 27%, the Colorado Party 15.7%, Cabildo Abierto 2.4% and the Independent Party 1 .7%.
