The “Zona de Encuentro” platform emerges in support of Benjamín Rausseo

“In Zona de Encuentro we gather people from the entire national political spectrum, from people from the PSUV, through VP and PJ. We have united, putting aside our differences and disagreements of the recent past because we understand that we must put the interests of the people and the country first,” said coordinator Mauro Carias.

The platform «Meeting Zone» (ZE), Made up of Chavistas and opponents, it arises in support of Benjamín Rausseo, who according to its members, “managed to awaken the pride and hope of the Venezuelan citizen.”

“A divided, weakened and confronted opposition cannot carry out this mission and the worn-out and blocked government of Maduro cannot produce the necessary rectifications and changes that are necessary,” the letter highlights.

Likewise, the document reflects that «Rausseo is the only one who has an inclusive, broad and nationalist discourse capable of integrating previously confronted people. Healing Venezuela, reconciling it and recovering its economy will not be an easy task, it requires a great national front, agreements and understandings that heal the wounds and defuse the conflict”.

In his opinion, “the G-4 candidates are not taking off, Henrique Capriles and Manuel Rosales stagnated and do not arouse political passion and on the side of the moderate opposition of the Democratic Alliance, there is no one who is of the stature and has a reputation for popular acceptance.

Mauro Carias, one of the ZE coordinators, affirmed that alarm bells are beginning to go off in the political world of concern “due to the speed in collecting the signatures of the presidential candidate Benjamín Rausseo, the signatures necessary to run as an independent candidate in the primary elections. of the opposition.”

We have united, putting aside our differences and disagreements of the recent past because we understand that we must put the interests of the people and the country first,” said Carias.

Carias also stated that “we like that Benjamin is united with those who were before confronting each other so that together we can move the country forward. Along with him we see veterans of the political struggle such as the social Christian and Caldera minister, Agustín Berrios, and leaders from different ends of politics, such as the VP radicals, Luis Stefanelli and the former mayor of Chacao, Emilio Grateron, who today they join the torrent of forces and alliances that make up this front”.

But also, “dissident Chavismo confronting Maduro is not far behind. Figures such as the former governor of Portuguesa, Antonia Muñoz, Numa Rojas, former mayor of Maturín and the leader of Redes, Juan Barreto.
