The Secretary of the Interior asks Morena for unity and to avoid "sterile debate"

Within the framework of this meeting, the person in charge of the country’s internal policy urged the legislators to help prevent the “fourth transformation” headed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador from “going off the rails.”

Three days before the installation of the second regular session of the 65th Legislature and from the former seat of the Senate, in the Xicótencatl mansion, he called for favoring dialogue, tolerance and agreements.

He urged to avoid “sterile debate” and insisted: “It is not worth wearing down the movement with these types of divisions.”

López was the first secretary to attend Morena’s plenary session in the Senate.

Before he spoke, the leader of the bench, Ricardo Monreal, assured that the parliamentary group is committed to the reforms of President López Obrador and that there are no “disloyal” legislators to his cause.
