The ruling party mobilized this #9Jan in Caracas to support Maduro

The PSUV called on its militancy to march this Thursday, one day before the inauguration of Nicolás Maduro for his third term


The ruling party, as it had already planned, went out to march in the afternoon of this Thursday, January 9, along Francisco de Miranda Avenue from the Great Wall of Petare to José Martí Square in the Chacao municipality where the militancy gathered in support for President Nicolás Maduro and his inauguration, scheduled for January 10.

A caravan of motorcycles accompanied the mobilization to the aforementioned point. During the tour, the militancy, along with officials from government entities, groups and members of the militia, passed through different platforms installed.

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, along with other leaders of the red awning such as Pedro Infante, Elio Serrano and Eduardo Piñate. At the beginning of the mobilization, the Minister of the Interior and Justice also stated that January 10 will be a holiday in the country.

«It is a town festival. “Today we go out to march to recognize the people for all the effort they have been making to preserve peace (…) Everything is beautiful, the people deployed, the deputies waiting for President Nicolás Maduro, the only president of Venezuela, the only National Assembly of Venezuela,” expressed Cabello.

Users on social networks reported the presence of officials from the National Guard and the Bolivarian National Police, as well as a small influx of people.
