Adrián Peña, Robert Silva and Pedro Bordaberry are the names in the dance as presidential candidates for the Colorado Party. Everyone has a position right now.
Bordaberry had said that he was not returning to politics, however, he re-registered his “Vamos Uruguay” list. Adrián Peña is preferred by the Ciudadanos sector, and Robert Silva does not want to talk about candidacies, he prefers to continue referring to what education is.
There is still time to talk about candidates, although times are getting shorter.
The general secretary of the Colorado Party, the former two-time president of the Republic, Julio Ma. Sanguinetti, told the capital’s press that “if the Colorado Party does not vote well, the coalition will hardly win. Thats the reality. The numbers from the past election are clear. Today we have a National Party that is firm around the figure of the president. We are in a transit situation, but fundamental”.
