The campaign towards the referendum on March 27 will have an important milestone this Tuesday when two referents of the ruling party and the opposition will face each other to discuss some of the 135 articles of the Law of Urgent Consideration. And that instance will be viewable through the website of The Observer Starting at 9:00 p.m. this Tuesday.
The leader of Cabildo Abierto, Guido Manini Ríos, and the senator of the Broad Front and the Communist Party, Óscar Andrade, will debate four LUC issues: housing, labor relations, education and security.
The first two songs were chosen by Andrade while the other two were chosen by Manini.
The debate will take place in Florida, will be transmitted by all the cables of the interior and moderated by three communicators also from the interior of the country.
Although it is not the first debate on the LUC, it is the first to involve leading figures from both the ruling party and the opposition. For the leader of Cabildo Abierto it will be the first instance of this type in his short political career. Andrade, meanwhile, already debated in the 2019 electoral campaign, when he was a presidential candidate, he was face to face with the then Colorado candidate Ernesto Talvi.
