He Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) opened a call for two lawyer positions in the General Accounting Office of the Nation with salaries of $51 thousand.
The application period began on Friday, March 3 and It closes this Monday the 20th. according to the website of Uruguay Concursa.
The workload is 40 hours per week: eight hours a day to be developed between 09:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday.
The contract is in the first place for 12 months on a provisional basis. Once that period has expired and after an evaluation, the official will be definitively appointed.
The salary is “$51,362 nominal to values July 2022, more social benefits.
The process, after the application, has an opposition test. The merits and background of those who apply will be measured.
Requirements and incompatibilities for the position
The call has two requirements: that the applicant have a Lawyer or Doctorate degree in Law and Social Sciences and have one year of experience “in the public or private sphere” related to the tasks that must be carried out.
On the other hand, there are certain incompatibilities and prohibitions in order to get the position.
The first refer to the fact that the person cannot “maintain other links with the Public Administration in forceexcept those that admit their accumulation with other positions or functions by virtue of an express legal norm” and “perceive passivity, withdrawal or subsidy from public activity generated by itselfexcept that their perception is suspended or that a legal norm enables the collection of both remunerations”.
The prohibitions indicate that the applicant cannot “have been dismissed, by means of a firm resolution, for the commission of a serious administrative misconduct or breach of their obligationseither as a public official or under any other form of relationship”.
It also prohibits him from accessing the position if you have a “disqualification as a result of an enforceable criminal sentence” either “to have taken advantage of the incentivized retirement regime”.
