MINERD suspends Nagua teacher for uploading student photos on OnlyFans

He Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) announced the 60-day suspension of Sarah Ventura Genao, Media Counselor, who has been the subject of a complaint in the sense of inciting students to promiscuous actions through the social network for adults and OnlyFans pornographic content.

The resolution signed by Dilia Stephany Ubiera Sosa, director of Human Resources at MINERD, indicates that the suspension with pay is based on the provisions of article 95 of Decree 639-03 of the Teaching Statute.

Likewise, it motivates the suspension of the counselor, who works at the Mat Secondary High School. Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, from the El Factor municipality, in the María Trinidad Sánchez province, is also based on Public Function Law No. 41-08, which in its article 88 states that “When it is convenient to carry out a judicial or administrative investigation, for the purposes of the same, suspend a public servant, the suspension will be with pay and will last up to sixty continuous days, a period that may be extended only once.

When announcing the suspension, Dilia Stephany Ubiera Sosa said that a commission has been formed under the director of Guidance and Psychology, Francisca de la Cruz, to investigate the complaint against counselor Sarah Ventura Genao.
