National Anti-Corruption Police asked the MP to prosecute individuals

This Friday, a statement from the National Anti-Corruption Police was released stating that it had initiated a “request before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for judicial prosecution of a series of individuals who could be involved in serious acts of corruption and embezzlement.”

The statement was released by the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Náñez through his account on the social network Twitter.

In the message that accompanies the text, the Minister highlights that the individuals would be linked to the judiciary, the oil industry and mayors’ offices.

“Through the following statement, the National Anti-Corruption Police informs that the prosecution of individuals linked to the judiciary, the oil industry and municipal mayors’ offices was requested before the MP,” published Ñáñez.

In this regard, he adds that they will take the investigation to the final consequences, “and we will not stop at the sacred duty of facing the scourge of corruption and punish in an exemplary manner those who commit these criminal acts, whoever they are and whoever falls, says the text.
