The fiscal deficit was 3.8% of GDP in the 12 months to February

The fiscal deficit stood at 3.8% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the last 12 months to Februaryas reported on Thursday by the Ministry of Economy.

The portfolio report indicated that the income of funds to the Social Security Trust (FSS) within the framework of the provisions of Law No. 19,590 was 0.4% of GDP,

So, result of the Global Public Sector (GSP) it was -3.4% of GDP which, adjusted for the HSS effect, stood at -3.8% of GDP. In the 12 months to January, the fiscal deficit had been 3.9%.
