The elections will be held on October 2, to which a total of 24,760,062 Peruvians and foreigners have been called to elect the next regional governors and mayors for the next four years.

WHEN WILL I KNOW WHICH IS MY POLLING LOCATION?
Citizens who marked three options to choose their next polling place for the elections on October 2, will know which location will be their turn from September 1, through an email sent by ONPE, which has been provided by the voter at the time of making the online process.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO CHOOSE THE POLLING LOCATION?
The deadline to choose your polling place is Friday, June 3, 2022, until 11:59 p.m., reported the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE). After the term has expired, you will no longer be able to choose where to vote because the electoral roll must be published. The ONPE reported on June 2 that a total of 3 million voters have chosen where they want to vote.
HOW CAN I CHOOSE MY POLLING LOCATION?
To choose your polling place you must have your last DNI issued and follow these steps:

- Enter your ID information: document number, verification digit and date of birth.
- Click “Accept” to the terms and conditions of use of the page.
- Answer a personal question that they will ask you to validate the information.
- Put your email
- Enter your cell phone number.
- You will receive an email to verify your registration.
- Once the email has been confirmed, you must click on the “Choose polling place”.
- You must select up to three options and click the “Save” button.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MOVE TO ANOTHER DISTRICT?
In the event that you have moved to another district after October 2, 2021 or you have updated your DNI after that date, which is the closing of the electoral roll, you will have to choose a place within the district that appears on your DNI (in case you haven’t updated it) or where you lived before. through the platform electyourlocal.onpe.gob.pethe voter will be able to select up to three options.
