The governor of Santa Fe, Omar Perotti, asked President Alberto Fernández for help after the fires transported a dense smoke that reached the City of Buenos Aires. “The Secretary of Military Emergency Coordination, Inés Barboza, and a team of specialist advisers are on site evaluating the situation and organizing support tasks,” explained the Ministry of Defense in reference to the casualties.
