At least five dead and more than 10 injured in an accident involving a bus in the Altiplano

A tragedy was recorded early this Saturday on the Oruro-Potosí route, at the Ventanilla intersectionwhen a Bolívar company bus ended up crashing into a mountain and as a result at least five people died and more than 10 were seriously injured.

The accident was recorded at 3:30. The bus had left La Paz for Potosí. InAmong the passengers were the members of a national rock band, one of whom reported that he became aware of the accident when they heard that the driver hit the mountain, and several people who were sitting on one side ended up dead due to the drag of the driver. and others with multiple fractures.

“We were approaching a corner and we collided, the stones began to enter and many people unfortunately ended up injured. I ended up with broken ribs, a head injury and bleeding on my body. I’m fine compared to many people,” said one of the passengers outside the Daniel Bracamontes hospital, in an interview with El Potosí.

He also denounced the irresponsibility of the driver, as he was traveling at high speed. “There are dead, at least five people, the rest are injured, there are more than 10 who ended up with multiple fractures and serious injuries,” said a survivor.
