A subject arrived and shot another in a supermarket in Armenia, when he was fleeing people caught up with him and beat him. Both, from Valle del Cauca, would have been “a reckoning.”

In a supermarket in Armenia a man arrived and shot another in the head, and he ran away but people caught up with him in Laureles Park and they almost lynched him, they claimed him for the homicide committed and he replied that the subject he shot, “he was a hit man”, authorities confirmed that both were from Valle del Cauca.
The man killed by the shot was identified as Jhonier Mauiricio Cardona Gil, 38 years old and with several criminal records.
According to local media, he had records for homicide; forced disappearance and culpable injuries, committed between 2015 and 2016.
It has not been clearly reported whether the precedent is for a hired killer or under what circumstances this homicide occurred.
Supposedly, Cardona Gil -a native of Tuluá- had returned to the country a few weeks ago. She had a pet cremation business.
This Monday he was shopping in a supermarket in Armenia, the capital of Quindío, when he was shot in the head.
What is presumed is that they were following him.
They caught the murderer
Once the murder occurred in the middle of the supermarket, the shooter ran out to flee. But in the Laureles neighborhood park, people caught up with him.
There, among some men they subdued him. They managed to hit him.
“Look, I didn’t steal from anyone… That one I killed is a hitman of my $%#,” he said while they held him by the neck.
And the victim’s wife claimed: «He killed him, he killed me. You were the wrong person.”
Once captured by the police, he was taken to a station and identified as Alkíbar Trujillo Malagón, 47 years old, from Palmira.
A Glock brand pistol with three 9mm cartridges was seized from him, which he would have used for the homicide of the other Valle del Cauca.
Authorities in Armenia are advancing with the investigations, but so far, what has been collected points to a reckoning. It’s not there yet if it’s because of the homicide issue or forced recruitment.
They presume that it may be due to a “pending account” that would come from Valle del Cauca.
Trujillo Malagón does not live in Armenia, they even try to verify if he traveled from Cali to commit this murder.
