Tacna: They fine 2,350 soles to a bar where they attacked inspectors

Staff of the Sub-management of Supervision and Control of the Provincial Municipality of Tacna, this Wednesday fined an establishment with 50% of the ITU (S/.2,350) for assaulting the supervising personnel and for not having the municipal license, proceeding to the closure immediate and the retention of goods and furniture.

In compliance with the rules and powers of municipal competence, the irregular establishment located on Prolongación Patricio Meléndez Avenue No. 1037, intersection with Tarata Avenue, was intervened, where it was found that a canteen bar was operating with semi-open doors serving the public.

Inside, a room equipped with eight tables and 16 wooden chairs, a display containing beers, 30 full and empty beer cases, a customer service bar and a television set against the wall was detected. At the time of the intervention, two men and two women were found consuming alcoholic beverages and the person of Nancy Yakelyne Balbín Verde, who said she was the driver of the business.

While the proceedings were being carried out, municipal personnel were physically, verbally and psychologically attacked with blows to the body and face by a man and two women, including the driver of the premises, opting to take the ballot book from the personnel to break it, for which Police personnel from the Vigil and Citizen Security Police Station were present at the scene to support said diligence.

The police officers transferred the three intervened to the police station to be denounced for assaulting the staff, knowing that one of them has a current indictment for the crime of aggravated robbery.
