This Thursday, the promoters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) were sworn in, in the parish of La Vega; Caracas; ahead of the elections that will take place this weekend for the renewal of the party’s grassroots structures.
The person in charge of the swearing-in was the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez.
«In the La Vega parish we swore in the promoters elected last weekend for the day that will take place this Saturday on @PartidoPSUV. These men and women will have the responsibility of mobilizing the militancy of each community,” Meléndez wrote on Twitter.
Specifically, more than 10,000 popular assemblies will be held in Caracas for the renovation of these structures.
During the day, explained Meléndez, a deployment of the militancy will be carried out “through the streets of the capital city, thus complying with the schedule that will allow us the profound renewal of our Party.”
It should be remembered that, from this saturday the election will be held throughout the country of the PSUV street, community and Bolívar Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) bosses.
For this process, 243,020 propellers were registered in streets throughout the country, which represents 97% of the municipalities of the national territory.
