Subsidy application registration for AySA users is already enabled

Those interested should go to the website argentina.gob.ar/eras/subsidio-agua.

The Registry of Maintenance of Subsidies for users of the drinking water and sewage service provided by the company Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA), is now available and those interested who want to keep the benefit must register, since as of the 1st November the new rate table will come into effect.

Interested parties should go to the website argentina.gob.ar/eras/subsidy-water and then click on “complete the registration form”, which has the character of an affidavit.

The page explains that those who access the benefit will have a 45% subsidy in November and December, which will be reduced to 30% in January and February 2023 and to 15% from March.

Beneficiaries of the social rate and those who reside in dwellings included in the zonal coefficient between 1.10 and 1.45 (neighborhoods in the south of the City of Buenos Aires and most of the Greater Buenos Aires) do not need to complete the form.

The tariff segmentation scheme entrusted to the Water and Sanitation Regulatory Entity (ERAS) was established through resolution 183/2022 of the Ministry of Public Works, “in order to avoid exclusion errors”, taking into account that the segmentation establishes a reduction of subsidies differentiated according to their zonal coefficient.

The users of the residential and vacant category whose properties are located in areas with Zonal Coefficients 2.00; 1.80 and 1.60 (medium level, in central and western neighborhoods of CABA and certain points in Greater Buenos Aires), will have a 40% discount in the last two months of 2022 and 20% in the first of 2023, eliminating the reductions as of March, if they do not access the continuity of the subsidy.

The non-residential, without distinction of zonal coefficientwill have a reduction scheme similar to that of users in middle-income areas.

The zonal coefficient appears on the back of each user’s AySA invoice, it was clarified in the presentation of the registry.

Communication A 7516 of the Central Bank is also recalled, which indicates that the users of the drinking water supply, while receiving a subsidy, will not be able to access the official foreign exchange market or carry out operations with titles and other securities with settlement in foreign currency.

For those who want to acquire foreign currency, the possibility of renouncing the subsidy is enabled on the same page.

In the subsidy application form, the holder of the service must include the name, surname, DNI with its procedure number, sex, date of birth and CUIL number.

Likewise, you will have to detail a series of socioeconomic and family group data
