Four members of a family were killed by wounds produced by a machete, an event that occurred on Sunday afternoon in the El Perico sector, Campo Elias municipality, Trujillo.
A guy nicknamed El Chivo broke into the Graterol family home and attacked them with a machete. As a result, Damacio Graterol Morón (83), María Paula Graterol Morón (67) and Petra María Graterol Morón (70) died at the site.
A fourth person was admitted to Rafael Rangel, located in Boconó (Trujillo), where he died this Monday morning, according to reports. This fourth victim was identified as Merardo José Delgado Graterol (44).
Until now the murderer has not been caught by the police authorities.
In another event, Edinson Castillo, 39 years old, was killed with a firearm last Sunday.
Castillo was at a party that was taking place in a warehouse located in La Yaguara, Caracas. There a fight broke out over a bottle of liquor and in the middle of the brawl someone shot Castillo in the abdominal area. He was taken to the Miguel Pérez Carreño hospital where he died after two operations. He was a coffee seller in Guarenas (Miranda).
