A survey by the consulting firm Option indicated that 62% of the population of Canelones approves the management of Mayor Yamandú Orsi while only 6% disapproves. This range is made up of 20% who consider that management is “very good” and 42% who evaluate it as “good”.
According to the data of the survey contracted by the Intendancy of Canelones to which he accessed The Observer partially, compared to last August, the approval of the community chief barely decreased 1% while disapproval also decreased 1%, so it can be concluded that approval levels remained.
The disapproval measured by Option is divided between 3% who considered it “very bad” and 4% “bad”, while 27% said that it is “neither good nor bad”, and another 3% do not know or respond .
If you look at the history of Orsi’s management measurement, approval registered a peak in March 2021 when it reached 79% and 3% disapproval.

Orsi’s main competitor for the upcoming elections is disapproved of by the 29% disapprove of those surveyed, 21% neither approve nor disapprove, and 6% do not know or do not answer.
The survey was conducted between May 10 and 13 by cell phone to a universe of 400 people, over 18 years of age and residents of the department of Canelones.
