Single track activated between Propatria and La Hoyada stations

The Caracas Metro System activated this weekend a single track between the Propatria and La Hoyada stations, due to the maintenance work being carried out at the Agua Salud public transport station.

Through its account on the social network Twitter, the Caracas Metro System reported that the works at the Agua Salud station have been carried out since dawn this Sunday and are necessary for the operation of transport.

Among the works carried out at the Agua Salud station, is “the replacement of 2 cores, the performance of three aluminothermic welds, one eclipse, geometric control of the line and crossing of the area.”

These works are part of the plan The Metro Moves With You.

For the full recovery of this Transport systemthe Venezuelan head of state approved 150 million dollars and 16 million euros for rail investment.

Similarly, to carry out the cleaning days of the Metro System, 365 cleaning operators remain deployed in the 48 Metro stations.

Meanwhile, more than 140 workers are in charge of reengineering, replacement of parts and maintenance.
