The president counselor of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova, admitted that this body received on May 12 Morena’s complaint related to the audios of the PRI leader, Alejandro Moreno, in which alleged electoral crimes would be revealed, according to partisan complaint.

However, the issue did not come to fruition in the prolonged session of the INE general council, under the argument that the matter was not on the agenda, nor in particular on the list of 35 sanctioning administrative procedures.

The morenista Eurípides Flores asked for the floor to criticize the inspection processes of the agency, which, he asserted, did not address the complaints in the 2021 electoral process, but its officials and advisers assure that acts autonomously and exercises its powers with all severity.

He noted that since May 3, the audios in reference have circulated on social networks, that we denounced at the time, were pointed out and that this institute simply did not seeso right there he put two extracts from the audios of Moreno, known as wingreleased by the Governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores.

Córdova made a procedural motion to ask Flores to indicate to which matter the audios corresponded and, if not, to abide by the regulations.

Counselor Jaime Rivera, president of the Control Commission, pointed out that from 2016 to 2022 there are 350 procedures in the Control Unit, as well as pending sanctions.
