Despite having the wording already agreed upon, some Accountability articles linked to working conditions and the administrative career, of which COFE is not aware, caused the firm to be suspended.
“We found out by rebound that in the Rendering of Accounts there is a series of articles linked to the administrative career, with which we have not had any contact, there has been no collective bargaining, nor are we aware of them, and some of them can generate complications” , expressed the general secretary of COFE, José Lorenzo López.
For that reason, they expressed to the government that they cannot sign that salary recovery agreement “without first knowing what those articles say.”

“Faced with this situation, an intermediate room was left open until this Thursday at 12:00 noon, in which we will be asked what they are about. If those items don’t go, we sign. If some go and we agree with them, we also sign. But if they want to include all of them without negotiating with COFE, we are not going to sign anything,” warned López.
