Sevilla FC will present this Friday in a joint act his first two reinforcements for next season, the Argentine central defender Federico Gattoni and the left back Adrià Pedrosa. The first traveled yesterday from Buenos Aires to the Andalusian capital, while the second already landed this Wednesday in Saint Paul and yesterday he signed his new contract with the Nervión entity, where he will remain for five seasons, until 2028.
The two reinforcements for the defense are the first two new faces that will be under the command of mendilibar already this weekend and the last two signings of Monchi before his departure to Aston Villa. The one in San Fernando also left the Gudelj renewal and the definitive hiring of the French Loïc Badé, who spent half a season on loan from Rennes, leaving a good taste in the mouth.
Gattoni, a powerful 24-year-old central defender, comes from Saint Lawrence of Almagro, where he remained on loan from Sevilla after the Andalusian club signed the player in the last winter market in exchange for 1.5 million euros. Pedrosa, who signed for five seasons, until 2028, he arrived with the letter of freedom after fulfilling a contract in the Spanish.
Both will be introduced by the president, jose castroand the current sports director, Victor Ortabefore joining the first training sessions this weekend in Montecastillo (Jerez de la Frontera) in the first part of the preseason.
