The Seniat published andn Official Gazette an order in which the requirements are established to obtain the benefit of exemption from the payment of Tax on Large Transactions Financial (IGTF) for sales operations of fuels, So such as inputs and additives for the improvement of gasoline quality.
The administrative providence No. SNAT/2023/00003 was published in the Gazette Number 42,570 Of date 13 of February 2023, ratifies the benefit of exemption from the payment of the IGTF provided for in theArticle 4 of Decree 4,767 of December 13 January 2023, also published in the Gazette Number 42,548, for “sale operations carried out in the national territory, of fuels derivatives of hydrocarbons, as well as inputs and additives intended to improve the gasoline quality.
Among the provisions it is stated thatThe taxpayers who can benefit from the exemption are the State through companies of its exclusive property, joint ventures with participation of state and private capital in any proportion, and private entitieswhich must comply with the provisions laid down in the administrative ruling, as indicated by the consulting firm EY Venezuela and reviewed by the portal Banking and Business.
Consequently, “the taxpayers indicated in Article 4 of the Decree No. 4,767, must allocate an account bank exclusively to carry out the operations provided for in said article”.
Likewise, “Beneficiaries must go to the Regional Management, Sector or Tax Unit Internal corresponding to their tax domicile, to purposes of updating your Information Registry Fiscal (RIF) and inform the account destined for carry out the operations foreseen above, complying with the formalities and requirements that established in the Fiscal Portal” of the Seniat.
On the other hand, “hebanks and other financial institutions appointed as IGTF perception agents are obliged to identify in their systems all the operations object of the benefit, as well as the records of it.”
This ruling came into effect from its publication in the Official Gazette, highlighted the information from the news portal.
