The senator justified the “need that has been transferred to him by residents of the city of Nueva Palmira.” In this sense, Camy stated that it is necessary to “promote lighting at By Pass crossings in Nueva Palmira, and warn that the speed be reduced from 90 km/hour to 60 km/hour”, pointing out that it is “a high-density area transit of workers to and from Silo Plants, Industries, Check Points, companies and ports, where heavy load vehicles pass at high speed”.
Senator Camy also sent the MTOP authorities the concern to finish the concrete walkway of approximately 2.4 km, in the sections included in Domingo Ordoñana street from Paysandú street to Minas street and Concordia street in the section included from Paysandú to the heavy traffic Bypass.
Camy added that “it is a necessary work for workers in that area, neighbors and companies in general, since the MTOP work has been very important, but it did not involve the referred sections and therefore, leaving uncovered road arteries that concentrate a large part of the important logistics and transport movement that characterizes the port environment and the city of Nueva Palmira itself”.
