Tarek William Saab stated that Gerardo Werthein became chancellor by pure chance due to inaction and his surname. In his opinion, “he has nothing to discuss” with Werthein “in any scenario”
The Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, issued a new statement this Sunday, December 29, in which he responded to the Argentine Foreign Minister, Gerardo Werthein, who recently accused him of committing “abuses” during his management at the Public Ministry.
Through Instagram, Saab expressed that Gerardo Werthein is a “corrupt” and “spokesman for the underworld.” «I have nothing to discuss with a famous corrupt person like you (from a miserable record) in any scenario (…) History will put everyone in their place, but you and your henchmen already entered, through the back door, into the garbage dump of the underworld,” he said.
He added that he feels “compassion and shame” for the statements of Werthein, whom he criticized for being a “representative of a government that has become a world laughingstock for its submission to the United States and Israel,” and that now intends to give him ” lessons about justice and human rights.
“For approximately 47 years I have worked in defense of the human rights of those persecuted and vulnerable sectors in my country. As a result of this, I have been detained on several occasions by governments that exercised state terrorism, without trial or respect for my rights; Since I was 14 years old I have been a revolutionary activist in student struggles and I have been elected and re-elected as a congressman, constituent, assemblyman, governor, defender of the people and attorney general,” he said.

He highlighted that he has held “high responsibilities” in the Chavista administration thanks to his “unbreakable coherence, ethics, dedication to study and ability to work.” «You cannot say the same; He became chancellor by pure chance due to inaction and his last name. If my commitment to the peace of our homeland leads me to receive attacks from an opportunist politician chosen by someone who campaigned with a chainsaw and promised to destroy the Argentine State, then I consider his criticism as a great recognition,” he stated.
In the text published in the Public Ministry account, Saab highlighted that Werthein’s arrival as chancellor “could not have had a worse message,” recalling that his predecessor, Diana Mondino, was dismissed for voting against the US embargo on Cuba. . “In due course, the Argentine people will seek justice for all the abuses and excesses of a pranato for which you are international spokesperson.”
In Saab’s opinion, “he has nothing to discuss” with Werthein “in any scenario.” «I have nothing to discuss with a known corrupt person like you (with a miserable record) in any context; “He is just starting out in politics.”
