Rodríguez, the successor to Moreira: improvements to the beaches in different places on the agenda

Rodríguez, the successor to Moreira: improvements to the beaches in different places on the agenda

EL ECO, when consulting the General Secretary of the Municipality, Guillermo Rodríguez Guaraglia, about when works will be carried out in Nueva Palmira, which the community claims through www.elecodigital.com.uy, pointed out that “suddenly they are not relevant works, but we have a tender for asphalt and sewerage”.

“The asphalt work is already beginning and the first thing to do is the streets of Brisas.” In the rest of the city “repairs and new asphalt streets will be made. The idea is that, from now until the end of the government period, in Nueva Palmira there will be a permanent crew repairing or doing asphalt works in the neighborhoods, ”he stressed.

Rodríguez maintained that, although “there are no highly relevant works planned” for Nueva Palmira, “we are totally willing to listen. It is very good that from the Municipality some ideas arise or are thrown at us. We are totally open. The idea of the mayor, without throwing butter on the roof, is to carry out works from here to the end of the government period, ”he indicated.

Beach cleaning

Regarding the maintenance and cleaning of beaches in the department, and especially in Nueva Palmira, Rodríguez said that “the eastern zone has been managed for a long time, which is a large chain of beaches. But, for example, Conchillas, which had been going on for a long time, especially the municipal beach, which was dirty, we started in October. In Carmelo in Playa Loca, on the left, a huge new space has been managed and made. Finishing there we will go to Palmyra”.
“It is slow, it is a job that is not fast, you have to combine a lot of things, because you need from the retro that is cleaning and removing junk, to have another to load the trucks, and you have to manage it in coordination with the Municipalities ”, he added.

rodriguez mayor
Guillermo Rodríguez is undoubtedly the candidate promoted by Mayor Carlos Moreira as his successor in the historically nationalist Mayor. “I would love to be a candidate for mayor, it would be an honor as it is now to be Moreira’s substitute,” he told EL ECO.
Although it will be so, for now “these are not political times, today I have a great responsibility for my position as secretary general,” he said.

“Next June we will be a year away from the inmates, I deeply respect the comrades not only from my party, but from the others who are already running their candidacies, but I understand that these are not political times, because what the people What he needs now is for the rulers to be by his side, in the neighborhoods, listening to them,” he added.

However, “it is very likely that he is a candidate” for mayor, because I feel that way. I feel that there is a group of people who would like it to be; and our group turns 35 next year, if we will have seniority in this, “said Rodríguez.

The entrance Rodríguez, the successor to Moreira: improvements to the beaches in different places on the agenda was first published on The Digital Echo.
