The third week of competition, corresponding to Phase 1, started today at the Ricardo Gregor stadium of the Campo Grande Independent Club with two sets that had to resort to penalties.
The day holds crosses between teams from the First Division B.
In the first turn, Silvio Pettirossi and Cristóbal Colón of JA Saldívar did not go beyond 2-2. Miguel Bernal and Leonardo Medina scored for the Republican aviator. Wilfrido Rivas and the remembered Mario Ricardo sealed parity. The batch smiled at Saldívar’s men by the score of 2-3.
Things did not look very different in the match between Deportivo Recoleta and Cristóbal Colón de Ñemby, who tied 1-1 with goals from Diego Marecos (DR) and Walter Centurión (CCC). Luck favored the undertaker after almost 20 executions by the score of 8-7.
