The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Jesús Santander (PSUV-Carabobo), listed this Tuesday a series of reasons that justify and validate the upcoming swearing-in of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, scheduled for this Friday. The parliamentarian forms the Permanent Commission on Education, Health, Science, Technology and Innovation; and offered his perspective during the program «Into the air”from Venezolana de Televisión.
“We had a presidential election on July 28 where our president Nicolás Maduro, by more than a million votes, was victorious over the other nine opposition candidates who presented themselves in that electoral process,” explained Santander, which pointed out the massive support for the current head of State, as announced by the National Electoral Council, and verified by the expertise of the Supreme Court of Justice, recognized on a national and international scale.
Regarding his duties as a parliamentarian, he recalled that “it is up to us, the deputies of the National Assembly, to receive him next Friday; for what will be the formal inauguration. Likewise, he assured that “we are all going to mobilize to Caracas” to support the national leader. “In the state of Carabobo we already have a schedule for what will be the transfer of our militants,” he said.
He also announced the arrival of community members from the Carabobo entity to hold a vigil, in solidarity with President Maduro, which is expected to fill ten avenues in Caracas. “We have a history that commits us to continue in revolution,” he added. «The Bolivarian Revolution has a great leader who is President Nicolás Maduro, he is the paterfamilias of all the Venezuelan people of those who voted for him, those who did not vote for him and those who did not even vote,” he elaborated.
Finally, he emphasized that “we have a Chavista people that is committed to the Bolivarian Revolution, they demonstrated it on July 28, and they will demonstrate it this January 10.”
