The brand new minister Raúl Lozano, will appoint in the next few hours the future general director of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning, after the resignation presented weeks ago by the until then hierarch, Gabriel Albornoz.
The Secretary of State will appoint retired Colonel Norbertino Suárez, current head of the National Directorate of Territorial Planning (Dinot) for this position.. The designation will be made official on Wednesday, according to what they told The Observer Open Town Hall sources.
Gabriel Albornoz, one of the founding members of the party led by Guido Manini Ríos, resigned from his position citing “personal reasons.” The ex-hierarch and the ex-minister Irene Moreira did not have a good relationship, although the political force has ruled out that his departure is associated with the episode that led to Moreira’s departure.
