The Vice President of Republic, Rachel Pena and the Minister of Housing and Buildings, Carlos Bonillacarried out a supervision visit in the community San Jose del Puerto, Municipality of Villa Altagracia, Province San Cristobal.
The meeting is held with the interest of inspecting the progress of several intervened homes. For the second stage of the plan, a total of 400 homes in the province.
The new structures ratify the commitment of the MIVED to build a better future for all Dominicans.

During the supervision, both the vice president of the Republiclike the Minister of Housing, delivered a completely built house to Mrs. Maritza Silvestre 56 years old, mother of seven children.
“I had never received help from any previous government; my house was deteriorated, the bathroom was near the kitchen, part of the house was divided with cardboard; I feel very proud of the contribution they have made to me and my family” Mrs. Maritza said with a smile.
In the activity, they accompanied the Vice President and Minister of MIVEDdirectors of the institution, authorities of the province of San Cristóbal, community leaders, among others.
