The level of the rivers that cross the city has risen in recent days, interdicting the BR-364, in the stretch where it passes through the city. The highway connects the two ends of the state. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) later reported that the blockade was released and the lane has normal traffic this Saturday (19).

The Civil Defense has set up tents in areas at risk of flooding and asks the population to remain on alert. The Santo Antônio and Liberdade neighborhoods were the most affected, according to the agency.
