Rain and storms continue through the weekend

The stationary front that has affected our country since last Thursday continues to produce various phenomena.

Yesterday, Friday, storms were recorded in a large part of the Eastern Region and some points in the Western Region, rains that in the department of Caaguazú exceeded 90 mm, drizzles and dense fog, according to the Meteorology Department.

During the weekend, the favorable conditions for the occurrence of severe weather phenomena would continue, especially in the center, south and east of the Eastern Region and south of the Western Region.

As of Sunday afternoon, with the entry of southerly winds, conditions would improve from west to east, first with a decrease in the intensity of the rains and then with their cessation.

The temperature, which would remain without much variation over the weekend, would drop from Monday, giving way to predominantly cool days and even cold nights in some parts of the country.
