This Thursday, September 22, the ASSE authorities, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Leonardo Cipriani, will appear before the Senate Budget Commission, which is studying Accountability.
In this sense, the president of the FFSP, Martín Pereira, informed that the union will carry out, at 9:00 a.m., a mobilization and concentration at the door of the Annex to the Legislative Palace, during the appearance of ASSE in the Budget Commission.
Pereira expressed that the objective of the concentration is to “defend what has been achieved in Deputies and advance in the Senate Budget Commission in the creation of 1,300 genuine positions for ASSE; and the regularization of almost 2,000 contracts for the Support Commission”.
Other aspects that they seek to maintain is the elimination of the Accountability article that prohibited care for health workers in the State Insurance Bank, in the event of an occupational accident.

At the same time, according to Pereira, the FFSP seeks to “continue working on wage construction for ASSE workers,” which will lead to sector officials “having greater stability and for the State to have savings, which it is the profit of the company”, and renew the training courses.
“We seek improvements in working conditions, and we want the Senate to maintain what was voted in deputies and consolidate the progress made,” said the Health union leader.
The FFSP also claims pensions from the government for the families of health officials killed by Covid-19. At the same time, they request to continue with the process of “detercerization” to eliminate the companies within ASSE.
