Public consultation begins on the draft Renewable and Alternative Energies Law

The National Assembly began the public consultation of the draft Renewable and Alternative Energy Law, a proposal that is being debated in the different spaces of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) in the country, as reported by the president of the Permanent Commission of Energy and Petroleum of parliament, deputy Ángel Rodríguez.

He mentioned that the other aspect to be resolved has to do “with the discussion and consultation of the law at the level of commune addresses in all the states of the country.”

In addition, Rodríguez specified that he instructed the deputies of the commission to plan with the levels of communal management in their regions, everything that the debate on the Renewable and Alternative Energies Law implies.

Finally, the parliamentarian announced that the Energy and Petroleum Commission of the National Assembly will debate in Mérida this weekend.
