According to the Deputy Minister of Labor, Roger Tejada, in order to evaluate this possibility, it is necessary for the Ministry to have a formal request and to have valid support.

“This proposal has not been formally presented and we have to wait for it to be presented and seconded by the actors in the world of work to then evaluate it,” he said.

In recent days, Francisco Carreira, leader of the Unity Movement, spoke to the media about the intention to reduce the working day to 4 days and said that it would be a temporary measure, and that to compensate for the reduced work day, workers should work two hours a day. addition to their 8-hour day, that is, they would work 10 hours a day for 4 days and in exchange they would get a day off.
