Promote more laws for energy and mining areas

Ángel Rodríguez: Me parece que ya hay acuerdos entre Venezuela y EEUU

The Energy and Petroleum Commission of the National Assembly plans to include two bills on the legislative agenda that are essential for the country’s development.

“These are two laws that do not exist and that will regulate the matter of energy. These activities, the generation of alternative energies and mining activity, have been being developed in an incipient manner in the country, so the approval of these instruments will speed up the industrialization process and help minimize the polluting effects on the environment,” he explained. the president of the commission, deputy Ángel Rodríguez.

In the case of the Strategic Minerals and Rare Earths Law, Rodríguez said that an interesting debate is being generated. “There is already a whole planning and meetings with sectors and institutions linked to the area,” he commented.

It also foresees the development of a symposium on how strategic these minerals are for the progress of the country.
